Christian education

St. John's offers Sunday school classes at 9:00 am during the school year.  

There are classes for ages 3 and up, including a class for high school students and one adult class. 

 For one week in the summer, St. John's and other local churches combine to hold Vacation Bible School.  It's a fun (sometimes even rowdy!) time of experiencing the love of Jesus through song, games, crafts, and Bible stories. Children ages 3 up to 6th grade are included.  Contact us for additional information or to register.

Catechism is our ministry with 7th and 8th grade students.  We teach the basics of the Christian faith and help guide young Christians through this very interesting time in their lives. 

 Wednesday at 6:30 - 7:30 pm
Designed for all ages, from ages 3 and up, including a class for high school students.   Wednesday activities include a ministry of fun, teaching, games, and learning about Jesus and the Church.

Junior Choir (2nd - 6th grade)

 Wednesday at 7:00 - 7:30 pm

 Cherub Choir (ages 3 - 1st grade)

 These choirs learn songs and sing praises to God, singing regularly during services.  In December, these two choirs combine to present the Children's' Christmas Program.
