St. John's Lutheran Church
st. john's lutheran church - montpelier OH - 419.485.3736

Welcome to St. John's Lutheran Church in Montpelier OH, where we have faithfully proclaimed the love of Jesus Christ to the people of our surrounding area for over 150 years!  Our region has seen many changes through the years, but two wonderful truths have not changed - the blessings of God in Jesus our Savior, and the warmth and friendliness of the church family here at St. John's.

For us, worship is not a "spectator sport".  We will put you to work singing, reading, and participating in our services.  Maybe you will be working on our mission trips.  Perhaps teaching our youth is a good fit for you.  There are many ways to serve at St. John's.

St. John's offers the following weekly Sunday services:
  • 8 a.m. - Praise and Worship (a more relaxed service with contemporary music)
  • 9 a.m. - Sunday School classes for all ages, including two adult classes
  • 10 a.m. - Traditional Worship (traditional liturgy and hymns)
  • A staffed nursery is available at the 10 a.m. service.
Other services are held throughout the year as well including: Wednesday Lenten Services; Ash Wednesday and Maundy Thursday; Easter Sunrise; Mid-week Advent Services; and Christmas Eve Service, just to name a few.
We love having visitors and look forward to meeting you and worshiping together.
